| The Animal
Recovery Foundation - Animal Rehabilitation Fund is a federally approved non-profit
(501-C3)
organization formed to assist in finding the owners of pets recovered by
cooperating public or private agencies or individuals
and, in association with the attending veterinarian, give financial assistance
in the rehabilitation of found sick or injured animals when it is beyond the
means of the owner.
By prompt posting of pictures and descriptions of the recovered animals in a central database, the owner of a lost pet can search the web to see if it has been recovered by one of the agencies or a private individual.
